St. Paul Welcome's You
 Mission Statement:
“In grateful response to God’s grace; His command to go and make disciples through baptism and teaching, and empowered by the Holy Spirit through word and sacrament ministry, we will vigorously make known the love of Christ by word and deed within our church, community and the world.”

St. Paul is a liturgical church, that is to say, the entire service-Liturgy, Sacrament of the Altar, Sacrament of Holy Baptism, and the proclamation of the Word-emphasizes the Lutheran teachings of the suffering , death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as recorded in Scripture and affirms that faith in Jesus Christ is essential for salvation.
St. Paul Lutheran Preschool is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week for three & four year old children.
St. Paul Lutheran Church was founded in 1847 by German speaking Swiss Lutherans who immigrated to the United States in 1846. St. Paul is the oldest member congregation our District which includes Tennessee, Arkansas, and parts of Kentucky.
The Lutheran Church began in 16th-century Germany as a Reformation movement centered on the unconditional grace of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Though Martin Luther was a central figure in the movement, he never intended for a church to be named for him. Nevertheless, we who are part of the movement are called Lutherans, and we believe in salvation by the grace of God alone, through faith in Christ Jesus alone, by way of the Word of God, alone.
The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod was founded in 1847 by immigrant German farmers in Perry County, Missouri. There were 14 original congregations. Today the membership is about 2.6 million and they worship in over 6000 local congregations throughout the world. LCMS headquarters are in St. Louis, Missouri.
